Rosy Prue

Rosy Prue has a broad range of experience across the arts education sector having worked as an art teacher, workshop facilitator and creative learning project manager. She gained a BA(Hons) in Printed Textile Design at Surrey Institute (now University for the Creative Arts) and qualified to teach art following a PGCE at Cambridge University.

In her own arts practice she embraces expressive experimentation with a range of media, often mixing different materials and methods together to build layers. Her work demonstrates a propensity for mark-making, pattern, surface and colour – sometimes illustrative, sometimes abstract.

Rosy hopes that her classes will foster self-expression and a playful approach to the creative process – encouraging participants to explore different techniques to develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment.
