Emma Blount

Emma is a fine artist glass painter and illustrator who lives in Hunworth in Norfolk, teaching glass painting and art. For twenty years since graduating from Roehampton University in 1991 Emma designed and made stained glass windows for churches and Victorian front doors.  Emma practices and teaches the Victorian layering glass painting method; you paint the glass using glass paint, oil and vinegar and then kiln-fuse the paint onto the glass.  Emma refined this ancient art while on work placement training with top European stained glass studios, as a result of winning the Award for Excellence in 2007 from the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass.
