Richard Suckling

Richard Suckling studied illustration at Cambridge School of Art working freelance for a number of years in London. He moved from London to Somerset before eventually setting in Newlyn, Cornwall. Now working as a professional fine artist, he draws his inspiration from the landscapes, seascapes and gardens of the West Country, as well as from his numerous trips abroad to warmer locations.  He is passionate about sharing the medium of soft pastels; regularly teaching workshops, demonstrating and writing articles regularly on the subject. He is currently represented by Claremont Contemporary Art in Sevenoaks and also sells paintings worldwide, directly via his Facebook and Instagram pages.
